IMM Spinal & Peripheral Manipulation CPD course
Dr. Ferenc Hepp Rehabilitation and Regeneration Center, Pécs, Hungary (Dec 2023)
Our last CPD course in 2023 (also our very first visit in Hungary) brought us to Pécs, 5th largest city, on the slopes of the Mecsek mountains, a vibrant university town in South West Hungary close to its border with Croatia.
We wanted to express our heartfelt thanks to our hosts of the National Basketball Academy and Dr. Ferenc Hepp Rehabilitation and Regeneration Center, to Dr. habil. László Rátgéber, Mariann Biróné dr. Czeininger, Bisić Aleksandar, Igor Kovacić and most of all, Szilvia Kovács, for their generosity and hospitality for providing an excellent venue that showcased a high performance sporting academy for basketball players and the dedicated supportive sports professional team including coaches, trainers, rehabilitation sports science specialists, sports-psychologists and sports-dieticians.
It was a pleasure to meet and work with the participants from Hungary and Serbia. Most of whom have been practitioners for many years in their field of manual medicine. Their level of clinical knowledge, applied anatomy and hands on skills are first class. Working with this highly skilled group was an absolute pleasure. We were able to exchange a tremendous amount of clinical information on treatment and management protocols for our mutual benefit.
Working within the Academy excellence facilities gave us an opportunity to demonstrate how practical application of skills being taught could be used in day-to-day practice life. This has been an excellent opportunity which the participants very much appreciated.
We built many new contacts for future mutual learning. We look forward to working with many more practitioners in the region.
